Free web page advertising can come in many different forms. As an online and offline marketer I use any free advertising and paid advertising that I can. As long as there is some sort of return on investment. For instance if I can get a free web page advertisement but this takes me 4-5 hours per week to accomplish then I had better be making at least a $510 per week from that ad. If not then I will do something else. If I am running an ad that costs me $300 per month and takes 1 hour to implement then I need to make about $115.50 per week from that ad. As you can see in this case the ad that costs money does not have as high of a return to break even and make me a profit as the free ad. The reason for this is that my time has a ton of value and I better get some sort of return on it. Many times we do not think this way when we start our companies. As time goes on though you will think this way.
Let's start to look at the different methods of getting free web page advertising.
Free Web Page Advertising Method 1
The first method I use when getting free web page advertising is to place a listing in a business directory. For instance my business directory will give you about 20 visitors per month. Free Web Page Advertising Method 2
The second way to get free web page advertising is placing an ad in the many different online classifieds that are out there. These will help get you traffic, but will take time in getting clients. I no longer use this method as my return on time is not worth it, but when I first started out and had a lot of free time this worked well. Paid the bills at least.
Free Web Page Advertising Method 3
Write a news release and place this in all the news directories that are online. Every time you have something that is news worthy write a release. You will not get a ton of business but over time you will get results.
Free Web Page Advertising Method 4
This method takes a ton of work, but is very much worth it. Write articles and place them in the free article directories that are online. These articles will have a link back to your web page and if you write a good article you will get a lot of human traffic. I get 150 views per month and at least 15 visitors per month per article. This is not huge but just one article per week means you will be getting about 780 good visitors per month after just one year.
