Plumbing Directory
A plumbing directory is a place to go to for finding plumbing companies. Check plumbing contractors for a list of plumbers near you. When I first started my plumbing company there was no directories of any kind. Or I should say no online directories of any kind. We have had the yellow pages for years. And on top of that are many other kinds of directories in a book format. Since the internet has come about there are dozens of different kinds of directories. The thing is though which directory is going to give you the right company for the job? The secret here is to not count on any directory. If you call a company out of the yellow pages or from a paper or magazine is that company going to do what they are supposed to? Hopefully, but if not be prepared. Make sure the person you are dealing with has qualifications, tickets, licences, and insurance. Then you will have something to fall back on if things go wrong.

Did you know that not all plumbers do drain cleaning? And not all drain cleaning companies can do plumbing, same goes for furnaces. My plumbing company does plumbing, gas fitting, some drain cleaning, and hot water heating. We do not do furnaces, or major drain cleaning. Ask the plumbing company what they can or cannot do.
