Tankless Water Heater
A tankless water heater is good in some areas and not so good in others. If you have a large family then a high efficient water heater with a tank might make more sense. A tankless water heater turns on when you turn on a tap, which means that there is no hot water any where in the system until that point. Most tankless water heaters are good for a couple of fixtures at the same time and run forever. For example you can have a shower and a faucet or two faucets both running at once and never run out of hot water. Sometimes though if you turn on your bathtub the flow rate for your tankless water heater will not be able to keep up with the demand. In that case you need a second tankless water heater installed and generally they work best if installed in series with each other.

Bosch water heaters are good water heaters that supply instantaneous hot water to your faucet, laundry, or shower and other fixtures. These water heaters have gone through all the trials of new water heaters and the bugs have been worked out. You can get a Bosch water heater in natural gas, propane, or electrical.
Rinnai Water Heaters
Rinnai water heaters have to bought through a certified wholesaler and can only be bought and installed through a certified and qualified technician. Rinnai themselves puts on the course that teaches technicians what is required to install this type of tankless water heater.
Rinnai tankless water heaters are capable of supplying hot water forever at certain flow rates. These flow rates are based on where you live and the temperature outside. The reason for this is the speed at which that water heater is able to heat the water. If you live in a colder climate the time to heat will take longer then if you live in a much hotter climate.
Rinnai water heaters come in electric, natural gas, or propane heating mediums. You can also get Rinnai water heaters that are meant for either indoor or outdoor usage.
